At Physio73, we employ women’s health specialists who can support you through all stages of life.
Whether you’re pregnant, postnatal, perimenopausal or managing general women’s health concerns, our women’s physiotherapy services are designed to help you move, recover and get back to feeling like yourself.
We also offer access to our clinic gym in Palmyra exclusively to our women’s health patients, as we understand that commercial gyms aren’t always suitable – particularly for new mums. Babies who are pre-walking age are also welcome!

Keep moving your way – Access to clinic gym
We understand that commercial gyms aren’t always the best place for women who are preparing for or have just given birth. Our Palmyra women’s health patients are given the exclusive opportunity to train in our onsite gym, at a simple, no contract flat rate of $15 a visit.
First, simply book a standard appointment with Rebekah so she can give you a guided tour of the gym, discuss your exercise goals and set you a program.
Then, each time you want to visit, go to our Booking page – select Palmyra – Group Bookings – Other Services – and “Gym Access – Independent exercising,” pay the $15 fee and come in. We will need you to sign a waiver on your first visit – and babies are even welcome!
The all-important postnatal period is a good time for women to see a physio, to help restore the body post-birth and deal with common issues that can arise.
Conditions we treat:
- Mastitis
- Vaginal prolapse, heaviness & bulging
- Female incontinence & overactive bladder
- Abdominal separation (diastasis recti)
- Postnatal back pain
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
Postnatal exercise advice and prescription
Our postnatal physio sessions can also include guidance and prescription of exercises to help you return to movement safely, when your body is ready.
Post-natal physiotherapy check up
It is recommended that all women have a 6- week postnatal check with a Women’s Health Physiotherapist. In this appointment, we assess your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, review your posture and address any concerns. One of the most important things we can also help with is making a safe return to exercise, offering advice and a tailored program based on your needs. FitRight Assessments can also be completed along with referral to any of the FitRight classes.

Bek has such a depth of knowledge about women’s health and always makes me feel comfortable and truly understood when I’m explaining how my body feels. I always feel listened to, supported and at ease during appointments, and I come away with new knowledge that helps me wherever I am in life, from pre-pregnancy through to pregnancy.
